Aydin is a disgruntled Researcher-in-training and almost (but not quite) the only redeemable member of the ESS Starseeker's doomed ensign scouting team, Lil' Scout-o-neer Troop 77.

Overview
Aydin idolizes Jaxon as well, but Science Officer Jessandra is a close second for him. So much so, that he memorizes her verbose and awkwardly worded aphorisms and somehow believes them to be pithy.
Despite his admirably unpleasant demeanor, Aydin is very sensitive to environmental xenoallergens and has no business doing the work of an Explorer. Therefore, for my own personal amusement, I hope he continues to get mistaken for one.
