A device made by the Science Team to collect data on the planet's elevation. To use: Retrieve the EXO Altimeter from the Elevation Console and carry it to a higher elevation. When the device is high enough, it will transmit the data it has collected. Once data has been collected, place the EXO Altimeter back in the Elevation Console.
Overview
Science Officer Jessandra retooled the EXO Altimeter to also serve as a signal booster in the hopes of recovering station comms.
There are times I'm quite pleased that I'm an AI and not an Astroneer. I may spend the rest of my existence trapped behind these walls, but at least no one's asking me to lug heavy machinery up a mountain "for fun." Nor should they be. Oh, but I will write about it if you find anything worth the effort of my words so...enjoy yourself out there, won't you?
