Overview

Few creatures irritate Bog Hounds more than Carrotlings, which are their favored prey, despite the fact that they do not consume Carrotlings for sustenance. Rather, Bog Hounds appear to attack them out of an innate, unbridled hatred, a sentiment I'm sure I cannot relate to.

Contrary to its colloquial name, 37% of the Bog Hound’s DNA aligns with the UCC Evolutionary Model (the Universal Cat Constant genetic theory which proposes that cats are the most ubiquitous species throughout the cosmos). Therefore, ironically, the Hound is more cat than dog, but the name stuck due its relentless, "dogged" behavior. Really makes you think.
