Astroneers are a unique form of Artificial Life invented by EXO Dynamics. Created through a combination of human and Priori technology, Astroneers are designed to survive and thrive in both space and on alien worlds.

Overview
Physical death means little to Astroneers because their unique synthesized consciousnesses are encoded into a Mind File that is stored within a Mind Bank. If their physical body gets destroyed, Astroneers can simply be reprinted with a new body at the nearest printer and resynced to their custom Mind File.
Astroneers are rarely seen without their helmets. Culturally, an Astroneer without their helmet is equivalent to a human traipsing about in their under bits.
