One of Tephra's Regions. A water-logged lowland containing giant vines, a large underground cavern network, rock spires, and a massive whirlpool.
Overview
The geysers of the Wetlands pump water to the surface of the planet via some sort of core. Clever Astroneers may even collect Hydro Sacs from the geysers...which suggests the geysers are either redistributing Hydro Sacs or creating them. How unusual. Almost like a plant distributing seeds.
"Mudways" are the name our scouting teams came up with for the slippery, circuitous pathways found across the Wetlands. Cellular microstructures on the surface of these unique formations trap a thin layer of water, which significantly reduces friction. In other words, Mudways are slick and make you move fast. Get it?
